Busey Gets Booted off Finally!

Boy oh boy am I happy. Last Sunday on Celebrity Apprentice, Gary Busey got to hear the words "Your Fired" by Mr. Donald Trump himself because of his failure as Project Manager for team backbone. Busey and his team, which included rock star Meat Loaf, rapper Lil' John, and country singer John Rich were responsible for marketing and presenting steaks in front of a live audeince and failed miserably. As a result of Busey's lack of focus and leadership, team backbone failed at selling thier product. The women won by a landslide whom were lead by playmate of the year Hope. Busey was not liked by his fellow teammates and his termination was well on its way. I am surpirsed he even lasted this long. Watch next week to see who gets fired next. So far everyone who is left I really have respect for. I am anxious to see who become enemies now that Busey is gone. Watch the show every Sunday at 9pm on NBC!

Jennifer Lopez makes a comeback!

For the past several years. Bronx diva Jennifer Lopez also known to the world as JLO has been struggling to reach the top of the charts with her last 2007 release "Brave" which didn't even spawn one hit. Today however is a different story for the "Jenny From the Block" singer. She is currently taking the role as a judge on this season's American Idol and is also dominating the charts with her latest hit single featuring Miami born rapper Pitbull with "On The Floor" The single has reached number 1 on both the billboard and Itunes charts and its video is gaining alot of hits since its premier on American Idol. She is currently in full swing in preperation for her new album later next month entitled "Love?" And yes with the question mark. She now also has a new single called "Im Into You" featuring rapper Lil Wayne and the video is set to debut sometime next week. I am digging her latest music and I think it is smart she is working with these rappers to bring in a cutting edge. Although I don't think she can sing, shes puting her foot down with these track and is reminding the world she is back in full force!

Below is her latest video "On The Floor" feat. Pibull

Donald Trump Needs to Shut the Hell Up and Stick to Real Estate!

I'm sorry but I had to write a blog about this. I am not really into politics I don' think anyone from either party is going to be 100% with doing everything that they say they are going to do but Donald Trump you need to get off the TV and stick with your billion dollar company and successful show.
Donald Trump has been on tv lately causing controversy about the birth situation of President Obama. Give me a break if he really wasn’t born here in the United States he wouldn’t be president. I don’t think it is that easy to take position in the White House with out getting your back ground check. Donald Trump is trying to become president for 2012 and I honestly don’t think I will vote for him. Check out this interview he had with Meredith Vieira on the Today Show. What an idiot!

Chris Tomlin Concert.. A Must See!

I was fortunetly able to attend "And If Our God Is For US" concert by Christian artist Chris Tomlin at the Cruzan Ampitheatre last Friday night and the show was amazing. Ofcorse being that the artist wasn't from a secular part of the music industry, the concert wasn't about all the fancy glamour or pyrotechnics, it was about the God given and worship led story that Chris Tomlin gave through his musical performance. The venue was full to the max and all tickets had been sold a few weeks prior to last Friday night's show. Chris Tomlin kept the crowd on their feet with a high-energy concert and music that was so good many were wiping down their tears from their face. If you get an opportunity, get a ticket now in one of his next gigs in Florida! 5 out of 5 stars!

Your Fired!!!!!

Your FIRED!!!... says Donald Trump after several contestants such as Lisa Rinna and David Cassidy walk away home in the first two episodes. This season's Celebrity Apprentice, celebrities such as Jose Conseco, Gary Busey, LaToya Jackson, Star Jones and Dionne Warwick and many more are competing on behalf of their charites. Whom ever wins each assignment gets money donated to the organization they represent. Ofcorse it doesn't come that easy. So far the women have been quite argumentive towards each other and debates have been quite heated. As for the guys, physical altercations have been in the mix in trying to outwit the women. This season is a must see! I give the show 5 out of 5 stars!

Watch Out! Janet Jackson Still Got It!

Just like the title says it’s worth saying again that at the age of 45, Miss Jackson still got it! I was fortunately able to buy floor seats for one of her sold-out shows in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall for her “Number Ones, Up Close and Personal” tour for Saturday, March 19. Unlike most of her previous tours she had done in the past, this time around, it wasn’t about the pyrotechnics and overly dramatized story telling. Janet choose to go very simple this time while performing her number one hits exclusively from her latest greatest hits album “Number Ones” released late 2009.
The purpose of this low-budget world tour was to be “up close and personal” with her fans as the name states while performing in smaller and more intimate venues around the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. So if you’re expecting all the lights, glamour and deep-melodic interludes that make distinguish Janet Jackson’s tours from any other pop star out there, you maybe disappointed.
However don’t be discouraged by that fact, The “Number Ones” tour had been designed to make you feel you were literally on the stage with her and I felt that way. Janet did not disappoint! She danced from beginning to end, (with a few ballads in the middle) with attitude and sharp dance moves that made her famous for over twenty years. Hits like “Control,” “Nasty,” “Rhythm Nation,” and “All For You,” brought many down memory lane while some of her most recent hits such as “Feedback,” “Nothing” and “Make Me” brought her youngest fans screaming to an all-time high.
The concert was definitely a must see and I proudly give it 5 out of 5 stars for her outstanding performance, stage presence (wardrobes were sexy!), and overall show. Janet will continue to tour around the United States in cities such as, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Washington D.C. and many others throughout late March and April before beginning her European leg of the tour. Unfortunately still no dates in Florida have been announced and it looks like there won’t be any.

Janet Jackson opens up the show with "Pleasure Principle," "Control", "What Have You Done For Me Lately" and "Feedback"

Janet eases the audience after a heart pumping dance intro with "Nothing," a slow ballad in which she wrote as the theme song for Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Too" in which she co-starred in last year.

Janet performs "Doesn't Really Matter," "Escapade," "Love Will Never Do (Without You)," "When I Think of You," and "All For You" in her Toronto tour date of the "Number Ones" Tour.

Janet performs a tribute to her brother Michael Jackson with "Scream" and goes hard on her 1989 classic "Rhythm Nation"

Lastly the encore (closure) of her show... "Diamonds," "The Best Things in Life Are For Free," "Make Me" and "Together Again"

Hall Pass..Yeah Ill take it!

Its almost every married guys' dream. Can you imagine being in a serious relationship with someone and they give you a free pass for a week to be single? Fellas can I get an Amen? Well Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis both got a "Hall Pass" from their wives granting them the right to live a single and free life for a whole week to better their marriage. As the wives had hoped all of their wishes did com true however, the guys didn't seem to worry about the end result until they wieved through quite crazy situations with single womem. In the end of every histerical obstacle and failed attempts to feel free and single, the men decide that its time to go back to their wives whom they all have deeply missed. I give this film 5 out of 5 for just simply over-the-top histerical comicals presentaion and moments. A must see!

Big Momma is in the house!

Actor and Comedian Martin Lawrence is back at it again with yet another release of his Big Momma series. The film, which takes place in Atlanta, is based on a plot to capture a missing music box in a private girls school in Georgia where hidden and substantial evidence stored in a flash drive contains information to put a few bad guys in jail. To get a hold of the flash drive, Lawrence and his son must go undercover as women to enter the library of the all girls school. With several obstacles in place, the guys manage to get a hold of the flash drive while being held hostage under a foreign gang. Although their objectives had been completed, their journey full of fun, laughter, disguise and heartbreak didn't make it quite that easy. This fun and histerical movie makes you laugh your butt off from beginning to end. And not giving away all the details of the film, I do think it deserves 5 out of 5 stars based on the films comical plots, hilarious obstacles and actor performance. These guys really put themselves into their funny performances! Go see for yourself!

Just Go with it!

Just go with it! As simple as that! What a great movie to laugh your butt off, a sense of comedy with tough of humorous drama. Every scene has you thinking how the characters are going to play off their own traps of lies. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston play it off well as they play a fake married and divorced couple in the movie just so that Sandler could get with a girl that he desires only to find out that his true love is actually Aniston.
The film which also featured Nicole Kidman was definitely one to see with a group of friends. At first I thought it was a chick flick but then I realized it was just a film full of fun laughter and a great sense of humorous jokes obviously only adults and mature audiences can handle. Great film as well. 5 out of 5 stars!

The Unknown!

The Unknown. Not only a catchy title to the mysterious drama based film, but a theme that leaves everyone wondering more just by the word itself. Starring the incredible Liam Neeson, the film takes place in Berlin, Germany where a luggage is misplaced containing highly classified information. A group of spies get a hold of it and Neeson’s identity is stolen from him. Going through different series of events to get proof of his identity, Neeson fails each time not knowing each plot was set up by spies including his wife who set him up.

The film was a drama-filled suspense. Every second had you at the edge and every turn of event came as a surprise. The only thing was that things weren’t clear until after it was over and your driving home replaying the scenes in your head. I would definitely give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Valentines is nothing but a gimmic!

The title says it all. Have you ever wondered what Valentines Day really was meant for and why the date? Not trying to be bitter here but why does it have to be a specific day where you express your emotions and feelings towards your significant other. Why February 14? I perssonally think its just a marketing gimmic invented by some bimbo to get profit out of the theme of hearts lathered in pink purple and white. If you really loved your girl, wait till the very next day when almost every piece of chocolate teddy bear and card you will find will be half off the original price. Not only would you be able to express your love for your girlfriend or boyfriend but your pocket won't hate you for doing that either!

I am not 100% against Valntine's Day, in fact I think its great that people get together and truly show their other half how much they mean, but come on people don't get extra sappy because of one day!

CNN Gets a hold of Piers Morgan who does his job well!

British Journalist Piers Morgan’s new show on CNN titled Piers Morgan Tonight is a compelling and captivating show that now airs every night at 9PM. I happen to catch tonight’s interview with the youngest sister of the late Michael Jackson, Janet, as she prepares for her upcoming World Tour and the release of her new book True You in which hits shelves today.

The interview, which lasted about an hour, seemed like a deep two way conversation between Piers and Janet capitalizing not only on her fame that spanned over two decades, but intimate and confidential facts on her life that she has never shared before. Facts that were in regards to her deepest fears, insecurities, a sour relationship with her father and of course memories and facts about her brother Michael that no one but her would ever know.

Her new book True You stems on the insecurities from her early childhood years through adulthood and emphasizes the importance of accepting who you are and how to become a better you if you’re not satisfied. She is also currently on tour in support of her Greatest Hits album entitled “Number Ones” and has already sold out way more than half of her concert dates in the United States and Canada.

Piers Morgan sensationally executed the interview swiftly and in an elegant manner not disrespecting or going over the boundaries with Janet. Although she admitted to being uncomfortable in the interview, her smile, laugh and sense of humor made you believe she’s quite content with where she is at in her life even though the pain of Michael’s death still looms in her heart.

127 hours is.. well... just okay

YIKES!!!!! Have you ever gone somewhere alone and then you get stuck and no one answers your scream for help? Try getting stuck in a valley in the middle of nowhere having your arm stuck between a boulder and the ridge of a rock wall. In the film 127 hours, directed and produced by Danny Boyle, Aron Ralston, played by James Franco, goes on a hiking trip though the Blue Canyon’s of Utah when he falls into a steep and narrow valley followed by a huge boulder. The boulder landed on top of him nearly killing him but wedged his right arm between the side of the valley wall and the boulder itself.

The entire film is a recap of his 127 hours between the time he fell to the time he amputated his whole arm which I have to say was pretty disgusting. During those hours, he ran out of water, drank his own urine to survive, went through memories of his life and recorded himself with messages to his family preparing himself for death. Within almost four days he decides to cut his own arm of free and gets out of the valley. The film ends as he gets transported via helicopter to the nearest hospital where he was treated and survives. This movie based on a real-life story of Aron Ralston gets 3 out of 4 stars. Although it did have a good way of presenting the unfortunate circumstances of Aron, I found the film to be way too much and tedious on that one particular scene of him stuck in the cave. I found that all the camera angles were also the same for about two hours. I wish there was more excitement I felt like there wasn’t enough.

The only way to get out is going down.......

James Cameron is back with yet another one of his movies but unlike Avatar, there sure aren’t any fantasies in his latest 2011 release. Sanctum, starring Richard Roxburgh and Rhys Wakefield, is a film based on a true story in Papua, New Guinea where an underwater cave exploration goes wrong. Frank, played by Roxburgh, is a cave explorer and professional scuba diver who brings along a team of people to explore the deep depths of a gigantic cave that no man has ever been.
As Frank’s curiosity and daring persona intrigue others to go down into deeper levels of the cave with him, many lives are terminated within a matter of seconds as a result of oxygen tank malfunctions, injury, anxiety and of course drowning. Since there was also an unexpected storm, the main cave opening was blocked by debris and the crew had to find another way out. Unfortunately for Frank, the only way out was to swim down through the rest of the cave hoping that there will be another way out.
I don’t want to give up what happens at the end but the movie kept you at the edge of your seat. Everything that happened was completely unexpected and there were some parts that seemed like the characters made the most stupid moves and decisions. The movie was heavy and what I mean by that is that there is a lot of drama, and gory scenes that made me feel like I was watching Saw all over again. Several parts of the movie I felt like vomiting so I had to close my eyes. Other than the heavy blood-gushing and body-part amputating scenes, Cameron portrayed the story plot very well. Music matched the dramatic scenes and certain camera footage made you really feel what that specific person is going through and feeling at the moment. I felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack just in my own seat watching what all the characters were going through. It was a good movie but I wouldn’t see it twice although I do recommend those who haven’t to do so. I rate this film 3 out of 4. It’s not one of Cameron’s best but definitely a good one.

Biutiful I Say...Just Biutiful!

One of the best foreign language films of the year has finally surfaced! Directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Biutiful is a tear jerking drama that takes place in some of the roughest and drug infested areas of Spain where a single dad lives to take care of his two children in a low income apartment. Uxbal, played by Spanish actor and husband to actress Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem gains income through underground means of drugs, illegal business deals with the Chinese and through his spiritual gift of communicating with the dead. His wife, Maramaba, is a drug addict and prostitute who mistreats their kids and thrives on infidelity although always begs to come back to Uxbal.

While their kids seem to not know what is going on, Uxbal is soon diagnosed with cancer and has to go undergo treatment but unfortunately because of neglecting his health, the possibilities of having a long life are drastically dropped to only a few more months.

Within the few months, Uxbal saves his money for the wellbeing of his children and leaves them with a friend’s wife who seemed to be a well suited mother for them. As the cancer progressed, symptoms such as urinating blood and dropping weight became very immanent to him until one day his young daughter finds out there is something wrong. In his last few moments of living he goes into his daughter’s room lays down next to hear and gives her a ring as a momentum of his love. A few breaths later, Uxbal grabs his daughter’s hand tightly and dies by her side.

Biutiful was an extraordinary movie. It came as a surprise because I thought it was just going to be a typical boring foreign language film but I found myself at the edge of my seat in almost every scene and embarrassingly enough with wet eyes at the end. Although the movie did seem a bit confusing and have me questioning a few things because of the movies plot and acting involved that truly let you feel what was going on, I give it 4 out of 4 stars but I definitely have to see it again! The entire film was in Spanish but was closed captioned in English.

It was about the King's Speech, Point Blank!

Um..Um..ahh… th th th thiis movie was great! If not fantastic is more like it! Taking place in the early nineteen hundreds in England during the Nazi Germany era and under the throne of King George V, this film is based on a true story of a New King’s struggle with speech and an unbreakable bond between two best friends.

The English film, directed by Tom Hooper, stars Australian actor Geoffrey Rush as Lionel the speech therapist and Colin Firth as King George VI who suffers from stammering. Throughout the film, King George is obligated to speak on behalf of his father (King George V) whom is dieing and throughout his throne in which he takes from his eldest brother David after he gave it up because of his promiscuities. Unfortunately because of his speech impediment, King George VI struggles with his self confidence and lack of faith of overcoming this problem in which he explains he’s been having since he was 5. With the help of his wife Elizabeth, he comes across a speech therapist, who poses to be a certified doctor, and begins speech therapy. As the sessions continue King George V, (aka Bertie), finds himself more confident with his speeches. Through many tactics and physical exercises, Bertie was able to overcome his speech impediment almost perfectly and was known as one of the best kings to ever take the throne in England. Both Lionel and Bertie remain friends in real life to this day.

I give this film four out of four stars because of its production and storyline. It sure doesn’t come to a surprise that it has been nominated for 12 Academy Awards and 7 Golden Globes!

Finally, A sequel that lives up to it's very own hype!

Movies that are remakes of others are bound to be compared to its original and unfortunately, most fail to live up to their very own standards. However, the Walt Disney produced film proved differently. With its technological-futuristic graphics and upbeat electronic themed music that emphasize the story hand-in-hand, the film brought a fantasy-like story line that was a reminiscent of Avatar. And yes, guys left the thearte starry-eyed daydreaming about the sexy Olivia Wilde.
Tron: Legacy is the sequel to the original Tron released in 1985 starring Jeff Bridges, whom also played a reoccurring role in this film, and I might add flawlessly as well!
Kevin Flynn (Bridges) is the CEO of a multi-million dollar company called ENCOM and the creator of Tron, an arcade game that takes place in a secluded world full of fighting and dangerous circumstances that seem impossible to survive. Sam played by Garrett Hedlund, is the son of Flynn who finds himself trapped in his father’s own game 25 years after his father had disappeared from his life. As the movie continues, Sam is labeled as a “user” and is obligated to fight other “users” in order to proceed into the next round.
After two successful rounds, he is captured by a woman named Quorra (Wilde) who takes him to his father’s home in the game. Twenty five years later, his father tells him why he never returned home and it was because he was trapped in his own game.
As the story continues, the three of them attempt to find a way to overtake the city which is full of corruption but to also find a way out. Will they find a way out? I guess you’ll just have to see it for yourself but there is a catch! All I will say is that the movie is quite captivating and makes you feel like you’re actually in the game. Tron: Legacy deserves all four stars and I really encourage everyone to watch it! This is definitely a movie to take a girl out on a date! Especially if your trying to get past first base!

No Stars Attached is More Like it!

The romantic comedy No Strings Attached starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman was like going through a two hour detention in high school starring at a wall. Can I say BORING? The film, which was directed by Ian Reitman, is based on a friendship with “no strings attached” between two childhood friends. As life separates them several times within the course of their lives, the two always find themselves meeting each other in random circumstances.
After each encounter, the two friends begin to reconnect and use each other for sexual pleasure. Since their last encounter, Adam (Kutcher) begins to fall in love with (Emma) Portman but his desire to be her lover doesn’t go as planned. Emma refuses to get serious with him because of fear of getting hurt and losing the benefit of just sex with no obligations.
While she doesn’t allow the relationship to go any deeper, Adam walks away and finds another prospect. Months later she realizes that her insecurities have only prevented her from being happy and at the end she his heart. Although it didn’t come as easy as she had hoped, the two live happily ever after.
Even though the storyline seems quite intriguing and hopeful to the typical lovers, the movie seemes like an over-fabricated fantasy that has been duplicated many times before since the beginning of time. With a little bit of a Notebook feel, the movie does have potential to bring one closer to his or her mate but guys BEWARE! If your girlfriend makes you see this film stash a few drinks in your bag because you don’t know what torture is until you see this! I give this film 1 star out of 4.

Mickey shows them what he's got!

The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale is an inspirational piece based on a true story of successful yet struggling journey in becoming a world renowned boxer. Mickey Ward (Wahlberg) starts off as an amateur fighter under the shadow and management of his older brother Dickey and mother. While the journey is filled with elements of heartbreak, drugs, jealousy, and disappointment through the ups and downs of a brotherhood and relationship with new girlfriend Charlene, Mickey reaches for the sky with a title shot that no one will ever forget. Through the trials of failing almost every fight and seeing his brother fall to drug addictions and incarcerations, the victory is almost hard to believe!

The movie’s suspense and various comical moments grant this film five out of five stars leaving audiences full of hope and optimism in their very own situations. Hopefully this film will be nominated for an Academy Award!

The New 2011 Ford Mustang Beats them All!

The new and improved 2011 Ford Mustang GT is here and has already begun owning the streets! Since 1995, Ford Mustangs discontinued the use of five liter V-8 engines in their GT cars but this year, Ford brought them back. While last year’s Mustangs drove on 4.9 Ford decided to kick it up a notch with a 5.0 beating almost every high performance car model in existence including the Chevy Camaro, the Dodge Challenger and the Hyundai Genesis. With a force of 412 horsepower, almost a hundred more than the 2010 Mustang, the new engine sure proves to be a beast. Ambient lighting, wide door windows and spacious back seating grants the consumer a more luxurious ride than the Camaro in itself. The option of installing a complete glass sunroof and state of the art Brimbo brakes only enhances this beast from its already top notch standard features. Starting at just over 29 thousand dollars, this new car is worth the price even if bought standard!
